Happy New Year 2009

Happy crazy bonus ballin' new year from all of us in team Lunacy. All our best wishes to all of you supporters out there and thank you so much for the patronage all throughout.

We know that everyone's been waiting for some news from our team. Some know a bit here and there already, and some don't. Well below are the latest updates for our team.

After an amazing year with paintball club Ronin we decided to part ways mutually to focus on our goals as our own club and team. The merge between Ronin and Lunacy early 2008 was not a move the team regrets and we appreciate every single thing team Ronin has offered and provided us from the start. With a joint sponsorship where we get all the benefits team Ronin gets as a division 1 team, it was nothing but flattering for a new team stepping into division 3 paintball. To get to train with perhaps one of the best teams in Malaysia and making friends with some of the country's top paintballers, we were overwhelmed each and every time we step on and off the field. We thank team Ronin for an amazing 2008 season and for helping us achieve the best paintball club for 2008 MY-NPL. It was an honour playing alongside Ronin Paintball Club Malaysia. We would like to wish them an awesome 2009 season playing the 7 man format in division 1.

Our team will be playing as team "LUNACY" for the 2009 MY-NPL season in division 2 after being promoted last year from our 2nd overall ranking inside division 3. (Hmm it's only been 12 hours since "last year" but anyways....lol...). Team Lunacy may possibly be competing in other leagues around Malaysia as well. But of course that depends on our team budget at the end of the day as you all know how expensive paintball is to play.

There are a few secrets we have yet to reveal but we'll reveal one thing to the world is that we are in the process of opening up an online paintball store serving the whole of United Arab Emirates. We've signed contracts with many brands to become exclusive distributors and dealers for their products we aim to just push paintball to another level there. Paintball is fairly new in the UAE but we hope to change that with our store. Oh yes link. http://www.lunacypaintball.ae. So the team's website will be lunacypaintball.com and lunacypaintball.ae is the store. Lunacy is going international watch out now.

Just a teaser for our new sponsors will be a brand of apparel/playing gear and a brand of gun upgrades. Hint hint. We'll let you keep thinking and we won't be posting anything until we have it all in our hands here in Malaysia. We hope everyone's gonna be stoked for us cos we're stoked out of our barrel socks at the moment with the support we're getting locally and internationally.

Roster wise we're still the main team we were in 2008. We do have an additional player but we'll confirm that after our next meeting. Below are the current team members names for 2009:

Fade Rahman will also be playing 2009 in some of the leagues in Dubai/UAE guesting in a team he chooses to play in later. He's had some offers already and it's an amazing feat for him. The team members are all jumping and throwin' our markers up in the air shooting 30 balls per second in support of our talented brother, friend and leader. More news on your favourite player Fade Rahman when it comes of course.

Oh and just in case you haven't noticed. If you see our roster list on the top right of our right menu bar you can actually click on the players names to see our mini information/interview on them.

The website may get a facelift but you'll just have to keep checkin' back and forth as it may happen anytime really.
